O Hotel Nobile Suites Executive, em Boa Viagem, recebeu, na manhã desta sexta-feira (1º), a primeira coletiva de imprensa do 22º Cine PE – Festival do Audiovisual. O encontro, que sempre acontece no dia seguinte de cada exibição, contou com a presença de representantes dos seis curtas-metragens, pernambucanos e nacionais, que integraram as mostras competitivas na noite de abertura do evento. Luís Pinheiro, diretor estreante à frente da comédia nacional Mulheres Alteradas, que estreou dentro da programação do festival, também participou do debate com jornalistas e convidados.
Kátia Mesel, que recebeu a honraria máxima do Cine PE – o Troféu Calunga de Ouro, em homenagem aos seus 50 anos de carreira – protagonizou uma conversa irreverente com o público. Com uma mente sempre à frente de seu tempo, a cineasta discorreu sobre os avanços tecnológicos dentro do audiovisual. “Hoje em dia todo mundo é meio cineasta, né? Você vai a um show e tem centenas de pessoas criando conteúdo através de um aparelho celular. São pessoas que registram, que postam e que se sentem nessa condição de produtores de vídeo”, avaliou.
Carismática, Mesel arrancou risadas da plateia ao lembrar de uma descoberta recente: “Semana passada, eu quase desmaiei quando descobri que as pessoas perdem horas vendo vídeos de gente tirando cravos do rosto. Gente, tem uma seleção no YouTube só disso, e tem público. Quer dizer, a gente vive um tempo de democratização, e isso é incrível”, pontuou.
As exibições do Cine PE continuam na noite desta sexta-feira (1º), quando acontece também a homenagem à atriz Cássia Kis. Será exibido o curta “Uma Balada para Rock Lane”, de Djalma Galindo, na Mostra Competitiva de Curtas-Metragens Pernambucanos, e “Teodora quer dançar” (MT), de Samantha Col Debella, “Balanceia” (RO), de Juraci Júnior e Thiago Oliveira, e “Banco Brecht” (PE), de Tiago Aguiar e Marcio Souza, na Mostra Competitiva de Curtas-Metragens Nacionais (Mostra Brasil). A Mostra Competitiva de Longas-Metragens traz Christabel (RJ), de Alex Levy-Heller, e Os Príncipes (RJ), de Luiz Rosemberg Filho.
As entradas para o festival são gratuitas e começam a ser distribuídas a partir das 16h na bilheteria do Cinema São Luiz.
