A produtora cultural Sandra Bertini deu início, na noite desta quinta-feira (31) à 22ª edição do Cine PE – Festival do Audiovisual. Com o Cinema São Luiz lotado, o festival exibiu os curtas-metragens “Dia-Um”, animação pernambucana dirigida por Natália Lima; “O Consertador de Coisas Miúdas”, de Marcos Buccini; “Sob o Delírio de Agosto”, ficção de Carlos Kamara e Karla Ferreira; e “Abismo”, de Ivan de Angelis.
Aplaudido de pé, o documentário em curta-metragem “Marias”, da carioca Yasmim Dias, foi um dos grandes destaques da noite. No filme, Yasmim acompanha a dor de cinco mulheres que sofreram um relacionamento abusivo – sendo uma delas sua própria mãe, morta a sangue frio pelo companheiro. Emocionada, a carioca explicou que compartilhou sua história para que outras mulheres não passem pelo mesmo sofrimento: “Eu transformei a minha dor em arte”, pontuou enquanto foi ovacionada.
Para Sandra Bertini, um dos maiores feitos desta edição foi o número de filmes inscritos: “Recebemos um total de 503 obras de todo país. Acho que esse número representa a importância do festival. É um símbolo de prestígio e reconhecimento nacional”. Dentro da Mostra de Filmes Hours Concours, foi exibido o curta-metragem “Desculpe, Me Afoguei”, fruto de uma colaboração entre a organização internacional Médicos Sem Fronteiras (MSF) e o estúdio libanês Kawakeb. Para encerrar a noite, o público pôde conferir em primeira mão a comédia “Mulheres Alteradas”, do diretor estreante Luís Pinheiro.
Kátia Mesel, primeira homenageada deste ano a receber o almejado Troféu Calunga, é reconhecida como a primeira diretora do estado de Pernambuco. Em seu discurso de agradecimento, Mesel exaltou a alegria de viver um tempo em que o cinema se torna cada vez mais um espaço democrático. “Eu quero dedicar uma parcela dessa homenagem às mulheres, porque nesses 50 anos eu vi o foco mudar. 50 anos atrás, as mulheres no audiovisual eram basicamente as atrizes… Hoje em dia elas desempenham todas as funções dentro do mercado cinematográfico. Cinema não se restringe mais a um só gênero”, comemorou.
Nesta sexta-feira (1º) o evento segue com exibição do curta pernambucano “Uma Balada para Rock Lane”, além dos curta-metragens nacionais “Teodora quer dançar”, “Balanceia” e “Banco Brecht”. “Christabel” e “Os Príncipes” integram a Mostra Competitiva de Longas-Metragens. As entradas são gratuitas.
